PRIVACY INFORMATION
How we use your information
LA Recruitment Partners Limited is the controller of the personal information you give us when you enquire about permanent work or send us a CV. This notice also covers information we receive while helping you find a role. Last reviewed: 23 September 2026.
Who we are
LA Recruitment Partners Limited, registered in Scotland (SC857105). Registered office: 4 Firhill Drive, Edinburgh, EH13 9EP. North West office: The Works, Edward Street, Hyde, SK14 2BQ. Contact Jonathan Parish at jonathan@larecruitmentpartners.co.uk, call Scotland on 0131 210 0480, or call North West England on 0161 706 3620.
Information we collect
Our form asks for your name, contact details, preferred work location, travel distance, availability, sector, work sought and, if you provide them, salary expectations, other notes and a CV. Recruitment activity can add correspondence, employment and qualification history, interview feedback and notes. Technical security and hosting logs may also contain your IP address, browser and device details. Please avoid including sensitive information in your CV unless it is relevant and necessary.
Why and how we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, discuss suitable work, assess role-related experience, arrange introductions with your knowledge and keep recruitment records. Our usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing recruitment services and responding to requests; legal obligations may require us to keep or use some records. Where special-category information is necessary, we assess an additional legal condition. The form checkbox acknowledges this notice and requests contact; it is not permission for unrelated marketing.
Who receives the information
Your enquiry is stored in a private CRM using Supabase. Vercel hosts the website, and Brevo sends your confirmation and our notification emails. With your knowledge, we may send relevant information to an employer considering you for a role. Jonathan may choose to run an optional CV summary: in that case the original CV and relevant profile details are sent to OpenAI for a factual recruiter summary. The request is configured with response storage disabled. Jonathan reviews the original CV and makes recruitment decisions himself; the AI summary does not automatically reject candidates. We do not sell your information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer applies, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. The site also uses images hosted by Pexels, which may receive connection details such as IP address when an image is loaded.
CV storage and security
Uploaded CVs are stored in a private file bucket with a 10 MB limit for PDF and Word files. Access is limited to authorised CRM users; temporary CV viewing links expire after ten minutes. You can submit an enquiry without a CV.
How long we keep it
We aim to review inactive candidate records and CVs 24 months after the last meaningful contact. An active recruitment relationship, dispute or legal obligation may justify longer retention. The CRM currently uses a manual review and deletion process, so 24 months is a review point rather than an automatic deletion guarantee. Placement, contract and invoice records may be kept for applicable accounting and legal periods. You can ask us to erase information, subject to lawful exceptions.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your information, request erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask about data portability where it applies. Contact jonathan@larecruitmentpartners.co.uk. We normally respond within one month. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
The public website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Essential security or hosting technologies may be used. The separate CRM uses authentication technology for sign-in. Read our cookie information for details.
